Decay: This knob controls the length of the reverb tail. Whether you want a shorter, more subtle reverb or a longer, more pronounced tail, the Decay knob has you covered.

Pre-Delay: This knob controls the amount of time before the reverb kicks in. This can help you create a sense of space or add depth to your sound.

Tone: This knob EQs the tail of the reverb, allowing you to make it mellow or accentuate the high end. This can help you tailor the reverb to your specific instrument or sound.

Mod: This knob adds a modulation effect, like a chorus, to the sound. This can add depth and movement to your reverb and help create a unique sound.

Mix: This knob controls the amount of effect compared to the dry signal. This can help you achieve the perfect balance of reverb and dry signal.

In addition to these knobs, the Strymon Cloudburst has a switch on the pedal called the Ensemble switch. In the off position, it's just the reverb itself. In the middle, it's the Ensemble effect, which adds a string orchestration behind you. In the Forte position, it's the maximum amount of the Ensemble effect.

On the back of the pedal, you have your input, output, expression or MIDI, and USB-C. There's also a switch for mono-mono to stereo or stereo-stereo. This means the pedal can work well with bass and other instruments, as well as guitars.
